BUILDING SERVICES  DESIGN

PCS Consulting Services Ltd offers a full building services design service. Common clients include Architectural practices, local authorities, Independent client organisations and contractors.  

Both "full design" and "employers requirements" can be provided depending upon the clients wishes.

We specialise in  providing tailored designs, and past projects include the design of services in a range of listed and older buildings.

All work is rigorously checked by a Chartered Engineer following strict Quality Control procedures.

Listed buildings require special consideration

Design services include systems in industrial, commercial, public and residential premises:-

Mechanical - Air conditioning, comfort cooling, humidity control, heating and ventilation, steam raising and distribution plant, low/medium/high pressure hot water systems and associated plant, chilled water and associated plant, compressed air, dust extraction, heat recovery, controls and building management systems, cash transfer systems etc.

 

Electrical - HV distribution. LV distribution, standby generation, mains conditioning and secure power supply distribution, lighting and emergency lighting installations, power installations, structured cabling & voice/data cabling installations, public address & sound system installations, energy & building management systems, lighting and transient voltage protection, security, intruder, access control and CCTV installations.

 

Fire safety - Sprinklers, fire alarms, gaseous discharge systems (CO², FM200, Inergen etc.), smoke ventilation, emergency lighting, lightning protection etc.

 

Refrigeration - Split systems, VRV/VRF, packaged chillers, systems comprising matched plant, refrigerated cases, cold rooms and heat recovery circuits. 

 

Secondary Refrigeration Systems utilising specialist secondary refrigerants and associated plant.

 

Public Health - Above and below ground drainage systems, domestic hot and cold water systems - design and full specification.

 

Specialist Facilities - Provision of clean rooms, sterile environments, training suites, video/tele conferencing facilities, specialist room controls, structured cabling & voice/data cabling call handling centres
